Mrs. Pauline Morgan-Stewart, age 93, of Blue Ridge went home to be with the Lord, Friday, September 2, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on December 29, 1928, in Fannin County, Georgia to the late Gordon and Bonnie Ferrell Cochran.

She was a woman that was grounded in her faith after being saved at the age of 16. In her younger years, she enjoyed fishing with her children and always relished in flowers and plants- truly having a green thumb. Most importantly, she loved her family and will be remembered as a cherished mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her children; Roy Lee Stanley, Jerry Allen Stanley, Justin Timothy Stanley, and Jeannie Louise Stanley Bartholomew; two spouses, Howard Morgan and Norman Stewart; and siblings, Glen Cochran, Kenneth Cochran, Wendall Cochran, Otis Cochran, and Irene Cochran McVey.

She is survived by her children, Jimmy Lee Stanley, Joe Richard Stanley, James Wendall (Becky) Stanley, and Jeff (Shirley) Stanley; brothers, Harold (Martha) Ferrell, Johnny (Carolyn) Cochran, and J.E. (Edith) Cochran.

She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, great-great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, bonus children and bonus grandchildren, other family members and friends.

Friends visited the family, Sunday, September 4, 2022, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. and Monday, September 5, 2022, from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.  at Akins-Cobb in Blue Ridge.

Mrs. Pauline’s life was celebrated September 6, 2022, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Akins-Cobb with the Rev. Grady Ray officiating.

Interment followed the service in the Young’s Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Michael Thomas, Jason Stanley, Bryan Stanley, Timmy Stanley, Dusty Stanley, and Corey Johnston.
