Opal Brawley

Mrs. Opal L. Brawley, age 98, of Ravenna, Ohio. passed away October 24, 2022.

She was born in Dial, Georgia, to the late L.P. and Callie Free Long, January 20, 1924.

She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Opal was preceded in death by her husband, Mark Brawley; and two sons, Randil and Angelo Brawley; and 10 siblings.

Survivors include her sons and their spouses, Larry and Yvonne Brawley, Joe Brawley all of Ravenna, Ohio and Keith and Sheryl Brawley of Morganton; daughter and her spouse, Lisa Brawley and Jim Campbell; sister, Christine “Elsie” Henderson; grandchildren, Lori, Amy, Marc, Josh, Jacob and Ryan; great- grandchildren, Victoria, Madison, Logan, Audrey and Carter; great-great- grandchildren, Lorelei.

Graveside services were held Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11 a.m. from the Brawley Cemetery with Min. Terry Stuart officiating.

Pallbearers were Billy Brawley, Wes Brawley, Marc Brawley, Cory Long, Jesse Long and Jim Campbell.
