Max Parris

Max Dirl Parris, age 77, of Blue Ridge, passed away Wednesday, February 2, 2022.

He was born January 3, 1945, in Blue Ridge. Max attended Barnes Chapel Church. He worked in home construction. Max was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Harper; mother, Marjorie Parris Hardy; and stepfather, Jim Hardy.

Survivors are his son, William L. Parris, of Blue Ridge; and grandchildren, Zack Harper and Sidney Harper.

Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, February 8, 2022, at 3 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Blue Ridge Chapel with Rev. Harold Weeks officiating. Interment followed in the Sugar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers were Nathan Sowers, Eric Sowers, Keith Graham and Butch Anderson.
