Marla Kirkland

Marla Lynn Kirkland, age 59, of Blue Ridge, passed away Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at Union General Hospital in Blairsville.

She was born on January 28, 1963, in Duluth, Georgia, to Bill Kirkland and Jean Kathleen Gilreath Kirkland. She was preceded in death by her father, Bill Kirkland.

Marla is survived by her mother; Kathleen Kirkland; sons, Jason Kirkland and Austin Kirkland; significant other, James Grindstaff; sister, Rhonda Kirkland; and brother, Michael Kirkland.

Graveside services were held Friday, June 24, 2022, at Corinth Baptist Church Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Jason Kirkland, Michael Kirkland, Josh Twiggs, James Grindstaff and Austin Kirkland.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to help defray final expenses.
