Willie Junior White, age 70, of Blue Ridge, passed away Friday, June 3, 2022, at home.

Junior was born September 26, 1951, in Blue Ridge, to the late Willie Robert White and Velvia Lewis White. He was a brick mason for a number of years. Junior owned and operated the L&W Pawn Shop for 15 years and was a gifted gunsmith. He was a member and deacon of the New Testament Baptist Church. Junior loved playing music and was an avid fisherman. Junior was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Wendell White, Helen Gibbs, Clarence White, Geraldine Bruce and Frances Parr.

Survivors are his wife, Pauline White, of Blue Ridge; daughter and son-in-law, Tammy White Davenport (Alan), of Ellijay, Georgia; granddaughter, Kayla (Kane) Bowen, of Ellijay; great-grandchildren, Ryker Bowen and Kashton Bowen; brothers, Tommy White, of Jonesboro, Georgia, and Kimsey White (Lula), of Blue Ridge; and several nieces and nephews also survived.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, June 6, 2022, at 2 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Funerals & Cremations, of Blue Ridge, Chapel with Rev. Bob Becker and Rev. Sammy Ledford officiating. Music was by Gina Carmichael. Pallbearers were Larry Beavers, Barron Adams, Josh Ledford, Freddie Rice, Marty Rhodes and Sammy Ledford Jr.

Interment followed in the Welcome Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. The family received friends at the funeral home Monday, June 6, 2022, from 11 a.m. until the funeral hour of 2 p.m.
