Judith Goode

Judith Marie Goode, age 80, of Turtletown, passed away January 19, 2022, in the Fannin Regional Hospital.

She was born in Michigan, February 1, 1941, to the late Justin True and Mary Bell Tucker Gortney. She was retired from Shaw Industries as a Twister Operator. She enjoyed helping and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, James Edward Goode, of Turtletown; daughter, Annette Brendle, of Turtletown; son and daughter-in-law, Charles and Tammy Goode, of Athens, Tennessee; sister, Annette Jones, of Michigan; grandchildren, Mary Payne, James Payne and Jeremy York; and great-grandchildren, Brianna Walker and Kadence Gage Payne; several nieces and nephews also survive.

Mrs. Goode’s wishes were to be cremated and no services are planned at this time.
