James William Waters, age 87, of Copperhill, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2019, at his home.
He is survived by his wife, Joyce Waters of the home; sons, Sidney Freeman and Jeff Waters, both of Copperhill; daughters, Vickie Talbert of Epworth, and Ethel Waters of Cleveland, Tennessee; brothers, Josh Waters, Charles Waters and Wendall Waters, all of Copperhill and George Waters of Benton, Tennessee; six grandchildren, Nicholas Waters, Laveta O’Neal, Jeffen Waters, Holly Waters, Samuel Wright and Franklin Waters; and seven great-grandchildren, Raven Ross, T.J. Ross, Isla Waters, Wyatt Waters, Chance Waters, Emily Wright, Alex Wright, Cohen Davis, Kora Davis and Cane Davis.
Funeral services were held Saturday, November 16, from the Akins of Copperhill chapel. Interment followed in Mount Zion (Tumbling Creek) Church cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome. Akins Funeral Home of Copperhill was in charge of arrangements.
