Glema Humphrey

Glema Rosalee Humphrey, age 91, of Harrison, Tennessee, passed away August 18, 2022, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.

She was born in Fannin County to the late Carl Nicholson and Lela Mull Nicholson.

She was a founder and retired from 58 Realty where she worked as a Real Estate Broker. Mrs. Humphrey was a founding member of the Bayside Baptist Church and an active member of the Harrison Ruritan Club.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Boyd Humphrey, and her siblings, Glenn Nicholson and Thelma Krider.

She is survived by her children, Ronald Humphrey of Austin, Texas, and daughter, Donna McFarland of Temple, Georgia; siblings, Garland Nicholson, James Nicholson, Bobby Nicholson, Geneva Lee and Betty Wise; along with four grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.

Mrs. Humphrey’s life was remembered at a graveside service Saturday, August 27, 2022, at 11 a.m. from the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Stacey Nicholson officiating.

Although flowers are a lovely tribute, the family request memorial donations be made to the Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery Fund at C/O Garland Nicholson 205 Nicholson Road Blue Ridge, Blue Ridge, Georgia 30513.
