Mrs. Gladys Mae Bell, age 82, of Blue Ridge, passed away Sunday, October 30, 2022, at her home.

She was born in the Jacks River Community of Fannin County April 13, 1940.

Gladys was a member of Colwell Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Wesley Jones and Cora Davenport Jones; husband of 64 years, Orlin Bell; and siblings, James Jones and Richard Jones.

Gladys is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Kathy and Tony Henson, of Epworth; brother, Herdis Jones, of Jacks River; sisters and brother-in-law, Myrtle and L.H. Hallum, of Mims, Florida; and Ida Watkins, of Epworth; grandchildren, Korey Kolberg, Samantha Henson, and Ryan Henson; great-grandchildren, Izzy Kolberg, Orin Kolberg, Zelda Kolberg, Liam Henson, and Aidan Henson; brothers-in-law and sister-in-law, Harley and Hazel Bell and Junior Bell.

Graveside funeral services were conducted Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at 3 p.m. from the Colwell Baptist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Delmar Davenport officiating.

Music was provided by Hannah Barker. Pallbearers were Roger Jones, Phil Jones, Bradley Watkins, Wesley Jones, Korey Kolberg, and John Chastain.
