Faye Fowler

(1933 - 2019)

Mrs. Faye Fowler, age 86, of Blue Ridge, formally of Dallas, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2019, in Blue Ridge.

Mrs. Fowler was born April 29, 1933, in Castleberry, Alabama, to parents, the late, Mr. Lummie Coleman Gray and Mrs. Gladys Kirkland. She was raised in Pensacola, Florida, where she met the love of her life, Mr. James David “J.D.” Fowler, for whom she was married to for 67 years. Mrs. Fowler was a loving wife, mother and a devoted homemaker. She loved attending church and worshiping her Lord and Savior. She also enjoyed gardening, playing games with her grandchildren and spending quality time with her friends and family. 

Mrs. Fowler is survived by her beloved spouse, Mr. James David “J.D.” Fowler; children, John David Fowler, Rebecca F. (Robert W.) Panter, Sharon K. (Jim) Butler and Judy A. (Johnny) Burns; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and brother, Coleman “Buddy” Gray. Many other relatives and friends also survive.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fowler was preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Jenkins and Bobbie Booker.

The funeral service for Mrs. Fowler was held Saturday, December 21, 2019, in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with the Rev. James Cook officiating. 

Interment was held at Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery.
