Mrs. Edna Beavers, age 91, of McCaysville, passed away at her home in Mobile October 31, 2019. Mrs. Beavers was a member of Mt. Liberty Baptist Church. Edna was loved by her family, friends and the community. Everyone knew her as a sweet, faithful lady who always had a smile on her face. Mrs. Edna was preceded in death by her husband, Fred Beavers; her parents, Edith and Grady Harrison; son, Glen Beavers; three brothers, Ernest, Lewis and Wayne Harrison; two sisters, Billey Bailey and Ruth Jones; and two grandchildren, Lisa Bush and Darren Ledford.
Survivors include her daughters, Jeanie Ledford and Mary Patterson; grandsons, Jamie and Jason Patterson; great-grandsons, Landon Bush and Rylan Patterson; sisters, Linda Arp and Sonja Ratcliff; and a special nephew, Steve Jones.
Funeral services were held Sunday, November 3, 2019, from the Chapel of Finch-Cochran Funeral Home in McCaysville.
