Connie Little

Connie Gwendolyn Little, age 72, of Covington, Georgia, passed away Saturday, September 14, 2019. She was born September 7, 1947, in Blue Ridge. Connie owned and operated a restaurant and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Blue Ridge. Mrs. Little was preceded in death by her mother, Reba Goff James; cousins, Ruth Ann Queen and Damon Howard; an uncle, Olin Coffe; and aunts, Mary Coffee and Alice Howard.

Survivors are husband, Ernest Steve Little; son and daughter-in-law, Gerald Merritt Jr. (Suzanne); daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia Garrett (Patrick) and Michelle Greene (Scott); special daughter, Linda Bezold; father, Thomas “Coy” James; grandchildren, Megan Floyd (Greg), Nicholas Garrett, Christopher Greene, Ryan Wooten (Keenan), Katie Basner (Corey), Taylor Merritt and Drew Merritt; great-grandchildren, Kylie Floyd, Garrett Floyd, Evelyn Floyd, Vivienne Floyd, Brayden Wooten, Gionna Wooten and Ari Basner; sister-in-law, Sandra Webb; brother-in-law, Robert Merritt; nephew, Robbie Merritt; and cousins, Marie Loftsis, Cathy Bowers, Billy Joe Howard, Ronnie Howard, Steve Howard, Olivia Coffee, Jeff Coffee and Melissa Duggan.

Graveside services were held Monday, September 16, 2019, from the Chastain Memorial Park Cemetery with the Rev. Bob Richardson officiating. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.akinsfuneralhome.com. Akins Funeral Home of Blue Ridge was in charge of the arrangements.
