Christopher Cody Williamson, age 39, of Jasper, Georgia, passed away January 26, 2022, in the Piedmont Mountainside Hospital in Jasper, Georgia.

Cody was an Interventional Radiological Technologist with the North Fulton Wellstar Hospital. He was an extremely loving husband, father, son, brother and friend to many. He had an infectious laugh and a wonderful sense of humor. Cody was truly an authentic person who will always be remembered for his loving and big heart. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents, William Cullen and Maxine Putnam Porter and Guinn Louis and Ella Mae Postell Williamson; and his mother, Freda Porter Williamson.

Survivors include his wife, Deanna Bennett Williamson; two children, Ava Bruce and Gabby Williamson, all of Jasper; father, Gerald Williamson, of Blue Ridge; brother and sister-in-law, Brandon and Katherine Williamson, of Kingston, Georgia; uncle and aunts, Randy and Sheri Porter, of Dallas, Georgia, and Debbie and Freddie Epperson, of Epworth; nieces and nephews, Addy Williamson and Brody Williamson, both of Kingston; cousin, Emily Epperson, Vino Pope and their child, Trevino Pope, of Austell, Georgia; and a host of other family members and loving friends.

Funeral services were conducted Monday, January 31, 2022, at 1 p.m. from the Akins-Cobb Chapel with Rev. Jeff Graves and Rev. Nathan Chancey officiating.

Interment followed in the Colwell Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Banks officiating. The following gentlemen served as pallbearers: Corey Callihan, Wesley Chastain, Ryan Chastain, Elijah Grindstaff, Morris Callihan, John Chastain, T.J. Dickey and Jeremy Collis.
