Mrs. Brittany Alexandria Riden, age 23, of Talking Rock, Georgia, passed away October 15, 2019. She was born in Fannin County, October 16, 1995. She was a loving mother and a member of the Freedom Baptist Church in Polk County, Tennessee. She was preceded in death by her father, James Richard Penwell.
Survivors include her husband, Jamie Riden; children, Berkley and Jayci Riden; mother, Sherry Penwell; brothers, James Penwell and Adrian Derreberry; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Ginger and Robert Cole; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, October 24, 2019, from the Chapel of the Akins Funeral Home with the Rev. Glen Stiles and the Rev. Mark Reid officiating. Music was provided by Janice Reid.
Interment followed in the O’Zion Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Jamie Riden, James Penwell, Cody Cole, Dawson Stewart, William Stewart, Adrian Derreberry and Tommy Nelson.
