Mrs. Anna Ruth Roper, age 83, of Blue Ridge, passed away September 26, 2019, in Blue Ridge. Mrs. Roper was born January 17, 1936, in Mineral Bluff, to the late Glenn V. Anderson and the late Paulene Ballew Anderson. She attended Temple Baptist Church and enjoyed baseball, basketball, traveling, working and taking care of her grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband, Floyd Roper; sons, Gregory A. Roper, Terry Lynn Roper and Jeffrey Lee (Cindy) Roper; grandchildren, Jennifer Barnes, Daniel Roper and Jason Roper; and great-grandchildren, Aden Jones, Hunter Barnes and Alliann Barnes.
Funeral services were held Saturday, September 28, 2019, at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Larry Stover officiating.
Interment followed in Copper Ridge Memorial Park.
