Fannin County’s hungry children need your help. The Summer Meal Program needs volunteers and money to deliver 800 meals a week for nine weeks starting June 1.
Fannin County Family Connection, Snack in a Backpack, St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Faith Presbyterian Church and Temple Baptist Church are joining forces again to feed the children.
A huge number of Fannin children are eligible for free and reduced cost meals during the school year. When school stops, so do the meals.
Volunteers from the groups named, along with others, work to fill the gap. They need your help to both pack and deliver. Money is also needed to buy food.
