It’s almost here, the season of giving. It’s the time of year when, “it’s more blessed to give than to receive” can be heard across the land.
When people think of giving, money or gifts most often come to mind. But giving can be much more, and much more rewarding.
One of the greatest things we can give is our time – time to reach out and pay attention to someone who needs a hand up, time to serve.
Volunteer groups, churches and non-profit organizations will all be looking for extra help this holiday season. Look around. There is bound to be a need that screams for your attention.
