Sherry Maria Tanner Ray, age 71, of Copperhill, passed away March 27, 2021, in Blue Ridge.
She was born in Copperhill, March 11, 1950, to the late Ralph Lee and Ann Evelyn Walden Tanner. She was a 1969 graduate of West Fannin High School. Sherry was a loving soul and mother, and she adored all of her family. She was also a member of the Branch Baptist Church. Her sister, Denise Tanner precedes her in death.
Survivors include her two sons and one daughter-in-law, Doctors Michael S. and Jill Ray of Roswell, Georgia, and Eric Jason Ray of Blue Ridge; brother, Ray Tanner; sisters, Pat Hubbard and Susan Tanner; grandchildren, Bearon Z. Ray, Jackson Ray and Dylan Ray; and a host of other relatives and friends.
A memorial service in her memory will be hosted by the family at a later time.
