Shelby Curlee

Shelby DeYoung Curlee, age 68, of Epworth, passed away Wednesday, June 23, 2021, at her home.

Mrs. Curlee was born August 23, 1952, in Red Oak, Georgia, to the late Charlies Watts and Meryl Lee Watts.

She was co-owner, along with her husband, Sam, of Cycle South Bicycle shop.

Shelby was very active with Get Along Dachshund Rescue, enjoyed gardening and working with plants.

In addition, she was an excellent cook and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her husband, Sam Curlee; children, Sandi Tuggle and Lee DeYoung; grandchildren, Jakob Tuggle and Calli Tuggle; and Twinkie, her Dachshund.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home of Blue Ridge. Services were held July 7, 2021, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
