Ruth Anne Harper Wright White, 89, passed away May 14, 2021.
She was born in McCaysville, May 23,1931, to Alvin Johnson “Jack” Harper and Samatha “Sam” Tolliver Harper.
She had a happy childhood, growing up in Copperhill. She attended grade school in Copperhill, but then moved to Fort Pierce, Florida, when she was 14 years of age. She married and had one son, Lester Steven Wright, who preceded her in death, and one daughter, Donna Thompson of Live Oak, Florida.
She was a long-time, active member of Wellborn Baptist Church.
A Celebration of Life will be held June 13, 2021, at 2 p.m. All friends are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations made to The Baptist Children’s Home, Wellborn Baptist Children’s Ministry or a local hospice.
