Ruth King Ross, age 90, of Mineral Bluff, passed away Monday, April 12, 2021, in Blue Ridge.
Mrs. Ross was born August 24, 1930, in Englewood, Tennessee, to the late John Jackson King and the late Dora Garren King. A member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford Herman Ross; brothers, JJ King, John Earl King, Otis King and Harold King; and sister, Lois Ellen Sheppard. Ruth enjoyed shopping, basketball and camping. Her family and friends will dearly miss her.
Survivors include her son, Clifford Lynn Ross, and daughter-in-law, Lisa Ross; daughter, Linda Hughes, and fiancé, Mike Bosler; grandchildren and their husbands, Stephanie Ballew and Jamey Ballew and Morgan Kreis and Garrison Kreis; and great-grandchildren, Allie Ballew, Anna Ballew, Ava Kreis and Addi Mae Kreis.
A private funeral service was held Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at 3 p.m. at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home with the Rev. Al Patterson officiating.
Interment followed in the Copper Ridge Memorial Gardens. Music was provided by Ed Vest. Pallbearers were Barry Thomas, Garrison Kreis, Jamey Ballew, Marty Owens, Kevin O’Neal and William McClure.
A private family visitation was held at the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville, Wednesday, April 14, 2021, from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
