Mr. Ricky Leon Johnson, age 65, of Ellijay, Georgia, passed away Saturday, December 18, 2021, at his residence.
Mr. Johnson was born in Marietta, Georgia, October 12, 1956, to the late Melvin Johnson and Betty Worley Johnson. Mr. Johnson was a retired truck driver. He attended Mineral Bluff Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Debra Johnson; one sister, Debra Thigpen; two nieces, Beth King and Jessica Thigpen; nephew, Travis Thigpen; and several half-brothers and sisters also survive.
Funeral Services were held Tuesday, December 21, 2021, at 4 p.m. in the chapel of Bernhardt Funeral Home with Rev. Vernie Worley officiating.
The family received friends Tuesday, December 21 from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requested that donations be made to Debra Johnson c/o 2271 Sunlight Road Ellijay, Georgia 30540.
Bernhardt Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
