Mrs. Reba Joanna Gmeiner, age 87, of Ducktown, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021.
She was born August 13, 1933in Copperhill, to the late Elmer Burger and Grace Johnson Burger. She attended Bethlehem Baptist Church. She was a member of the bowling league in Blue Ridge and the Home Demonstration Club.
She is also preceded in death by her late husband, Andrew John Gmeiner; and sister, Joyce Trantham.
She is survived by her sister, Jean Kennedy; brother, Charles Leland Burger; nieces and nephews, Ronald Burger, Marty Burger, David Trantham, Tim Trantham, Missy Taylor, Melinda Annis, Noel Kennedy and Melanie Cochran; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.
Graveside services were conducted Saturday, January 16, 2021, at 3 p.m. from the Zion Hill Baptist Church cemetery with the Rev. Jeremiah Jack officiating. Music was by Missy Taylor, Melanie Cochran and Miranda Taylor.
