Pauline Galloway Thomas, age 93, of Blue Ridge, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2020, in Atlanta, Georgia.
She was born April 7, 1927, in McCaysville, to the late Robert F. Galloway and Effie Thomas Galloway.
She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Bryson Thomas and sisters, Gertrude Galloway and Ruby Patterson.
She is survived by her step-sons, Gerald (Gail) Thomas, Weldon (Mabel Jeannette) Thomas, Roy A. Thomas, and Mike (Bonnie) Thomas; sisters, Arlene Patterson and Bobbi (Roy) Crawford; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and eight nieces and nephews.
A graveside service was conducted Saturday, August 1, 2020, at 1:00 p.m. from Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David O’Neal officiating.
David Franklin, Danny Patterson, William Patterson, Carlton Patterson, Terry Dunn, and Robert Crawford served as pallbearers.
