Mrs. Reathel “Pauline” Robinson, age 90, of Blue Ridge, passed away December 2, 2021, in Blue Ridge, surrounded by her family.

She was a native of Fannin County, born January 13, 1931, to the late Rev. Luther and Bertha Couch Davenport. She was a longtime member of the New Antioch Baptist Church and had worked for 29 years as a housekeeper for the nursing home in Blue Ridge, now known as Pruitt Health Care. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Harold E. Robinson Sr.; son, Harold E. “Frog” Robinson Jr.; and siblings, Kelly Davenport, Havard Davenport, Roy Davenport, William “Bill” Davenport, Evelyn Platt and Dorothy Gorham.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Jim and Azalea Robinson of Blue Ridge; grandchildren and their spouses, Theresa and Mike Newton, Ray and Christina Pruett, Donna and Jeremy Wright and Brent Robinson; great-grandchildren, Hannah and Andrew Bailey, Stephanie and Aaron Lawler, Michael Newton, Jack Pruett, Bryson Wright and Logan Wright; great-great-grandchildren, Ava, Will and Emma Lawler and William Stroup; brother, Jim Davenport, of Ryo, Georgia; sisters, Alice Pope of Ellijay, Georgia, and Joyce Adams, of Cherry Log; special friend and care giver, Kathy Stiles; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 2 p.m. from the Akins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Pope officiating.

Interment followed in the Harmony Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Butch Anderson, Ed Hawkins, John Watkins, Junior Cornett, Ray Pruett and Jeremy Wright. Serving as honorary pallbearers were Winston Garrett, Bryson Wright, Logan Wright, Jack Pruett and Michael Newton.
