Melody Jean Colbert, age 62, of Blue Ridge passed away Wednesday, August 11, 2021, at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
She is survived by her companion, Isaac Elrod of Blue Ridge; great-aunts, Edwina Haren of Blue Ridge, and Ruby Sowers of Blue Ridge; sisters, Gale (John) Dover of Clarkesville, Georgia, Judy (Mabron) Worley of Cornelia, Georgia, Teresa (late Norman) Norwood of Blairsville, Georgia, and Glynda (Danny) Crooke of Ellijay, Georgia; 13 nieces and nephews; and a host of other family members and friends.
Graveside services were conducted Saturday, August 14, 2021, at 3 p.m. from the New Liberty Church Cemetery in Clarkesville with Rev. Kyle Gibson officiating.
