Marilyn Knight

Mrs. Marilyn E. (Vines) Knight, age 84, of Fannin County, passed away peacefully Sunday November 15, 2020, in the Piedmont Hospital of Atlanta following an extended illness. 

Marilyn was born April 2, 1936, in Carrollton, Georgia, as the daughter of the late James Dewitt Vines and Mary Elizabeth Turner. She was a loving and caring mother and grandmother. 

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Knight and a brother, William D. Vines. 

Marilyn was a member of the National Association of Legal Secretaries as well as the Blue Ridge United Methodist Church. 

Survivors include one daughter, Donna Lisa Barrow, of Cleveland, Tennessee, and two grandchildren: Kelly Rene Hewitt Barrow and Derek Paul Hewitt.

A memorial will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to a favorite charity of your choice in Marilyn’s memory.

Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville was in charge of the arrangements.
