Lynn Reist

Lynn Reist, age 68, of McCaysville, passed away Monday, September 6, 2021, at her home.

Mrs. Reist was born April 23, 1953, in Manhattan, New York, to the late Henry Kopf and the late Betty Kittle Kopf. She was preceded in death by her sister, Carol Kopf. Lynn was a retired elementary teacher with Blue Ridge Elementary School and enjoyed gardening, crafting, sewing, hiking, her grandkids, and all her family.

She was an amazing and incredible person who will be missed by all who knew her. Her family certainly loved her a gazillion billion bunches.

Survivors include her husband, Ron Reist; daughters, Kathleen Bedell and Jenn Barnett; step-daughter, Tara (Eddie) Robertson; sister, Barbara Johns; brother, Chris (Cathy) Kopf; grandchildren, Castle Barnett and Kingston Barnett; nephews, Jim (Donita) Sweeney and Davey (Colette) Sweeney; niece, Carolyn Kopf; nephew, Nick Kopf; and niece, Allison (Nick) Ukropina.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Finch-Cochran Funeral Home of McCaysville.
