John Alva Robinson, age 73, of Blue Ridge passed Thursday, December 10, 2020. He was born January 26, 1947, in Donalsonville, Georgia, to his late parents Samuel Eley and Sara Belle (Baxter) Robinson. John was of the Methodist faith and was a retired high school math teacher. John enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family.
He is survived by wife of 51 years Susan Hancock Robinson of Blue Ridge; daughters and sons-in-law, Theresa and Kelvin Clan of Kirkland, Washington, and Christi and Steve Rodemeyer of Cumming, Georgia; son Johnny A. Robinson, Jr of Lebonon, Tennessee; grandchildren, Britony Rodemoyer, Melinda Grover, Sarah Rodemoyer, Kaylee Rodemoyer, Sam Robinson, Belle Robinson and John Eley Robinson.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, January 23, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Fannin Lane Bowling Alley. Marvin (Mac) McRoberts will be speaking.
