Francis Gunter

Francis Delorise Gunter, age 86 of Hiram, Georgia, passed away Monday, January 10, 2022.

Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Friday, January 14, 2022, at the Carmichael Funeral Home in Marietta, Georgia, with Pastor Jerry Rice officiating. Burial followed in Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mrs. Gunter was born in Fannin County and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hubert Gunter.

She is survived by her son, Michael Gunter (Donna) of Woodstock, Georgia; brother, Donnie Botts; sister, Janice Burelsmith; grandchildren, Stephanie Beal (Shad George), Kara Gunter, Courtney Gunter, Lacy Gunter, Devin Gunter, Amanda Brown and Jeremy Washington; and seven great-grandchildren.

The family received friends at the funeral home Thursday, January 13, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Carmichael Funeral Home, located at 1130 Whitlock Avenue, in Marietta, was in charge of arrangements.
