Ed Sapp, passed away peacefully at the age of 90, at home, Sunday, March 21, 2021, surrounded by family.
He was born in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and retired to Blue Ridge, after a 35 year career in law enforcement in South Florida. His family was his top priority, and his hobbies always included anything associated with them.
He was loved by his wife, Beverly; daughter, Sandy Applegate; sons, Steve Sapp and Sara, and Michael Sapp; grandchildren, Ashley Alexander and her husband Brian, Austin Sapp, Cory Sapp, Stephanie DeBolle and Alex Applegate; and great-grandchildren, Jonathan and Ainsley Alexander.
A private family memorial service will take place at a future date.
