Austin Little

Austin Garrett Little, age 90 of Morganton, passed away November 29, 2021, at his home.

Mr. Little was born April 2, 1931, in Canton, Georgia, to the late Harvey Little and the late Stella Hopkins Little. A member of the Woodmen Association, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Susan Darlene Little; son, Gary Shane Little; grandson, Shane Hatt; three sisters; and four brothers. Mr. Little was known for his inquisitive mind and loved inventing things and had a passion for engineering as well as racing cars.

He was an excellent father, husband and grandfather. He was a wonderful role model with a gentle personality and will be dearly missed.

He is survived by wife, Anna Jean Little; daughter, Judy Lynne Little; son, Christopher Lee Little; grandchildren, Michelle Hatt, Cassandra Hatt, Corey Shane Little, Casey Glen Little, Crystal Little Karr and Chad Austin Little; six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services were held Friday, December 3, 2021, at 1 p.m. at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home, of Blue Ridge, with the Rev. Jim Crews officiating.

Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton,  Monday, December 27, 2021, at 11 a.m.
