Just when it appeared Blue Ridge City Council members wanted to be sure annexation was done the right way, with plenty of citizen input, it looks like they are interested in rushing it through.
To their credit, members of the Blue Ridge City Council put an annexation plan on hold when they met Tuesday.
The fighting isn’t hand-to-hand with pitchforks and farm tools.
If emails are any indication, and hopefully they are, decision making power in Blue Ridge will soon be where it rightfully belongs – in the hands of city council members.
One by one, and one step at a time, local businesses are re-opening their doors and employees are going back to work.
Governor Brian Kemp has certainly raised eyebrows since taking office as Georgia’s top elected official.
Businesses are opening and people are moving about. There are guidelines in place for almost every scenario, but depending on where a person might be, those seem nonexistent.
