Lady Rebels claim victory

    The Fannin County Lady Rebels earned their second region win on a road trip to North Murray High School by beating the Mountaineers 64-36.

    During the first quarter, Courtney Davis led the Lady Rebels with ten points made up of two twos and two threes. Senior Ellie Cook dropped two three pointers for six, and Macy Hawkins added two points from the paint.

    The second quarter was hot as the Lady Rebels scored 22 points. Davis put in eight, Cook put in six, Hawkins had seven and Ava Queen put in a free throw.

    After halftime, the Lady Rebels streak continued as Davis scored eight points. Queen put in two baskets from the paint for four. Hawkins and Jayden Bailey each had two. Emma Buchanan added a free throw.

    The fourth quarter saw Emma Holloway get four points from the paint. Queen added two and Maggie Ledford put in a free throw.
