The Fannin County High School Lady Rebels softball team won big over Coosa Lady Eagles 15-0, Tuesday, August 20, in just three innings.
The Lady Rebels got on the board in the bottom of the first inning after Sydney German walked, Natalie Herendon doubled, Presley Daves was struck by a pitch, Makayla Stiles doubled, and Aidyn Patterson stole home, each scoring one run.
Fannin added to their early lead in the bottom of the second inning after Myla Rogers tripled, the Lady Eagles committed an error, German singled, and Daves doubled, each scoring one run.
The Lady Rebels scored six runs on four hits in the bottom of the third inning. Aaleyah Rogers tripled, scoring two runs, Cason Roper drew a walk, scoring one run, Rachel Adams singled, scoring one run, Krislyn Odom drew a walk, scoring one run, and an error scored one run.
Herendon stepped in the circle first for Fannin County Varsity Lady Rebels. The pitcher gave up zero hits and zero runs over two innings, striking out two and walking none.
Roper also worked from the circle for the Lady Rebels. The pitcher gave up zero hits and zero runs over one inning, striking out three and walking none.
The Lady Rebels tallied 12 hits in the game. Patterson, Rogers, and Rogers each collected two hits for Fannin County Varsity Lady Rebels. Daves, Adams, Rogers, Rogers, and Stiles each drove in one run for Fannin. German led the Lady Rebels with two walks. Overall, the team had a strong eye at the plate, collecting six walks for the game. Patterson, Rogers, and Callie Ensley each stole multiple bases. As a team, the Lady Rebels ran wild on the base paths, piling up 13 stolen bases for the game.
