The Fannin County High School track and field athletes competed at the Creekview Invitational Meet Friday, March 8.
Head Coach Miranda Roof said, “This is a prestigious meet with hundreds of elite athletes competing where the top three make the podium. Everyone that competed either made the podium or set a personal record in their respective event(s).”
The 4x800 girls relay team of Lindsey Holloway, Ava Acker, Carlee Holloway and Karli Sams made the podium by finishing first overall.
Lindsey Holloway made the podium by finishing first overall in the 1600m run.
Karli Sams made the podium by finishing third in the 800m run.
Zechariah Prater earned a personal record and made the podium by finishing first in the 1600m run.
Cooper Born earned a personal record in both discus and shot put where he placed fourth overall in discus.
Jace Sanderson earned a personal record in the high jump.
Adia Galloway earned a personal record in pole vault.
Sydney Ford earned a personal record in both the 1600m run and 3200m run. She finished fifth in the 3200m run.
Ava Acker earned a personal record and finished fourth in the 800m run.
Airianna Galloway earned a personal record in the 400m dash.
Carlee Holloway earned a personal record in the 400m dash.
Lawson Sullivan earned a personal record in the 400m dash.
