The Fannin County Lady Rebels earned another region win with a 45-32 victory over Gordon Lee, Tuesday, January 7, as Maggie Ledford led the effort with 17 points.
The Lady Rebels controlled the game from the opening tip, never giving up the lead. They led 23-5 at halftime before closing out the victory.
As a team, the Lady Rebels rebounded the ball well, collecting 32 rebounds. Reese Lewis led the team with eight rebounds.
Fannin County passed the ball well with 11 assists on 16 made baskets. The team blocked six shots, Lewis leading with four.
Ledford hit three threes for Fannin in her game leading offensive effort. Izzie Jabaley also scored in double figures with 10 points, Lewis added nine points, Emma Buchanan scored five points, Avi Ethington tossed in three points, and Callie Ensley added a single free throw.
