Senior Courtney Davis scored 27 points to lead the Fannin County Lady Rebels past Union County 68-50 Friday, December 15,
The Lady Rebels had a strong first half, leading 40-18 at halftime and never looked back.
Maggie Ledford and Davis each hit multiple three-pointers for Fannin.
The Lady Rebels played hot defense, blocking four shots and grabbing 13 steals. They also rebounded the ball well, collecting 29 rebounds. Macy Hawkins led the team with nine rebounds. Passing the ball, the team totaled 10 assists on 25 made baskets.
Besides Davis’ leading points, Ledford and Hawkins had 12 points each, Reese Lewis scored eight points, Avi Ethington put in four points, Emma Buchanan scored three points and Emma Holloway put in two points.
