Copper Basin’s Lady Cougars dominated Chattanooga Charter High School on the volleyball court, winning in three straight sets, 25-7, 25-6 and 25-7.
Cora Kimsey paced Copper Basin with nine aces, two kills and two assists in the win.
Riley Akens, Kinsley Ross, and Addison Hyatt each had five aces in the win. Ross added two kills and Hyatt also recorded one kill, an assist and a dig.
Maggie Scoggins and Maleah Deal had four aces each. Scoggins also had two kills, one assist and three digs while Deal recorded three assists and a dig.
Camryn Dockery came away with three aces while Kendra Deal posted two aces and four assists.
Claire Ledford scored an ace and two kills.
Savanna Bloodworth had four kills, an assist and a dig.
Alexis Hyatt had one kill in the set she played.
