Carolyn Cole

Carolyn Bruce Cole, age 68, of Suches, passed away Saturday evening, April 30, 2022, in Blairsville, Georgia.

She was born in Blue Ridge May 28, 1953, the daughter of the late Jewell Ellard Bruce and Eula Marie Seabolt Bruce. She was of the Baptist Faith and had retired from Levi Strauss in Blue Ridge.

She enjoyed making jewelry, working with her flowers and bird watching. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arvil Cole; and son, Andrew Cole.

Mrs. Cole is survived by her daughter, Sandra (JR) Carroll; sisters, Vicky (Edward) Panter, Pauline Stamey and Debbie (Denny) Tanner; grandchildren, D.J. Carroll, Ray Carroll and Jena Hill; and great-grandchildren, Kimberlyn Hill and Haizley Hill.

Services were scheduled for Thursday, May 5, 2022, at 2 p.m. from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Tim Garrett officiating. The family received friends at the funeral home Thursday from 1 p.m. until 2 p.m.

Interment followed in the Friendship Baptist Church Cemetery.
