Charles Brent Gray, 20, of 1930 Star Creek Road, Morganton, remains held without bond in the Fannin County Jail following his arrest on six felony charges.
All six charges involve sexual assaults on two children, both under the age of 10.
According to arrest warrants, Gray is charged with three counts of aggravated sodomy and three counts of aggravated child molestation.
The crimes are alleged to have happened between December 2017 and December 2018, and January 2023 and June 2023.
Accusations were first reported to law enforcement officials October 31, 2023.
The warrants charging Gray were sworn out by Fannin County Sheriff’s Office Investigator Erin Sehl November 27 and Gray was taken into custody November 28 by Sergeant John Kinser.
Fannin County Chief Magistrate Judge Brian Jones said bond was automatically denied during an initial appearance hearing for Gray because, since the charges involved the aggravated acts, any bond has to be set by a Superior Court judge.
