Volunteers and donations are still needed for the Friends of the Fannin County Public Library Book Sale, which will take place October 11 through 13 at the old fire station, 342 West Main Street, Blue Ridge.
Volunteers are needed to unpack and sort books Wednesday, October 9, from 1 to 5 p.m. and Thursday, October 10, from 3 to 6 p.m. Help is also needed to fill cashier shifts and to help pack up the sale Sunday, October 13, at 5 p.m.
Books, CDs and DVDs can be donated and brought to the old fire station Wednesday, October 9, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
The sale itself is scheduled 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, October 11, and Saturday, October 12, and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, October 13. A bag sale will be held Sunday from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Proceeds from the sale will help fund the Summer Reading Program as well as provide books, supplies and furnishings for the library.
