Calling all photographers, amateur or otherwise! This year The News Observer, with the support of Farmers Insurance, will feature Hometown Photos taken by the residents and visitors of Fannin County and the Copper Basin.
Interested in seeing a favorite photo in print? It’s easy to participate. Just send a high resolution photo to photos@thenewsobserver.com or visit www.thenewsobserver.com/hometown-photo to upload the photo and its information.
It’s important to include the name of the person who took the photo, where the photo was taken and when the photo was taken. Otherwise the photo can not be printed. If desired, tell us about the photo and who the others are in the photo.
The photo feature will run the fourth week of the month and photos will be chosen solely at the newspaper’s discretion.
The deadline to submit the first round of photos is January 22. There will be no hard deadline for the subsequent months so keep those photos rolling in. Have fun!
