The Good Samaritans of Fannin County invite everyone to dinner on Thanksgiving Day.
The annual Community Thanksgiving Open Table is November 28 from 12 noon to 4 p.m. at the Fannin County High School cafeteria.
Organizers say all are welcome to share a meal of smoked turkey and all the fixin’s. Take-out meals are available for homebound and working folks. There is no charge for the meal. Donations are welcome although not required.
Good Samaritans CEO Carlie Hammond said folks are welcome to fellowship and relax after dinner while the children enjoy craft activities.
She said participants are encouraged to browse the donated Silent Auction items and place bids on items they may like for themselves or as gifts.
A Music Medley “Open Mic” is on tap as well. Folks are free to join in the singing or playing.
