In The News Observer’s Christmas issue, we shared the story of Steve and Nikki Shamblin and their journey to adopt a 14-year-old girl, Elizabeth, from a group home in Colombia, South America.
Elizabeth is getting closer to having her own home! So far an additional $1,100 has been donated to help defray the adoption costs.
The total adoption costs are anticipated to be $15,000 and, with the donation mentioned above, they’ve raised a total of $8,100, which means they still need $6,900.
