Christmas Bazaar to feature homemade wares

St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Blue Ridge will hold its 13th Annual Christmas Bazaar, December 7, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Shoppers can expect to find decorations, cabin decor, jewelry, original art and knitted items in addition to food gifts such as jams, pickles, jellies, baked goods, candy, the church’s Mountain Candy and other sweets.

Folks are invited to try samples of treats from the church kitchen and enjoy a free cup of coffee or hot apple cider throughout the day.

A silent auction will feature a variety of specially selected items. Organizers say all proceeds from this event are donated to a variety of organizations that serve the people in the Appalachian region.

The festivities will take place in the social hall of the church. The church is located at 7 Ewing St. just a few blocks from downtown Blue Ridge.

The bazaar is open to the public and offers free admission and free parking. The church is also handicap accessible. Visit www.stlukesblueridge.org or call 706-632-8245 to learn more.
