Snack in a Backpack will host their 11th annual “Bringin’ the Blues to Blue Ridge” event Saturday, February 22 at Mercier Orchards from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
According to Snack in a Backpack Executive Director Debby Beck, the event will feature a Mardi Gras theme and include a musical performance by The Crossroads Band, Mardi Gras costumes, a gourmet cajun buffet, dancing and a silent auction.
Advanced tickets are $50 per person, $90 per couple and tickets will be sold at the door for $60. Each ticket includes appetizers, dinner and dessert. A cash bar will also be available.
“We are grateful to have the support of the community and many local business partners that join us in our mission to reduce hunger in Fannin County,” Beck said. “Please join us for a great evening.”
Tickets are available at the main branch of United Community Bank, South State Bank and the Fannin Chamber of Commerce in Blue Ridge.
Proceeds benefit Snack in a Backpack’s continuous effort to help provide food for children on the weekends and during summer vacation.
