The City of Blue Ridge will hold a special election March 24, 2020, to fill the vacant seat left behind when Councilman Ken Gaddis resigned from the Post 3 seat this past August.
City Clerk Kelsey Ledford and Court Clerk and Office Manager Barbie Gerald will coordinate and be in charge of the special election. Both women must be re-certified to be able to run an election.
January will mark the beginning of the qualification period and the election will be held in March during Georgia’s primary election.
Ballots will be cast at City Hall, located at 480 West First St. in Blue Ridge.
