Rebels remain perfect at 5-0

The Fannin County Rebels basketball team took a 65-40 win over Dade County, Friday, December 5,  as Kolton Kaylor scored 22 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.

The Rebels had a strong first half on their way to a 5-0 season, leading 35-19 at halftime and never looked back, securing the victory.

Matthew Ponton and Kaylor each hit multiple three-pointers for Fannin. The Rebels rebounded the ball well, collecting 43 rebounds. Kaylor led the team with 13 rebounds. They passed the ball well with 11 assists on 22 made baskets. The Rebels blocked five shots in the game. Kaylor led the team with three blocks.

Kaylor added 22 points, Ponton scored 12 points, Keaton Watkins put up 8 points, Tyler Blake totaled 6 points, Brody Henson and Hudson York each had 4 points, Kolby Kaylor and Cannon Holloway both scored 3 points, Kylan Dover added 2 points and Avrey Angel put in one point in the Rebel’s win.
