Joseph Roth III

Mr. Joseph Rudolph Roth III, age 71, of Mineral Bluff, passed away Sunday morning, August 1, 2021.

Mr. Roth was born February 3, 1950, in Miami, Florida, to the late Joseph R Roth II, and the late Mary Jane Lucas Roth. He was a very active member of Blue Ridge United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Men. Joseph loved fishing, boating, camping, working on his property and spending time on his tractor. He had done volunteer work with his friend, Dale Dyer, in local cemeteries. Mr. Roth was a retired residential building contractor. He was a very talented carpenter, loved to build things and could fix anything. A witty and funny, all-around good guy. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph R. Roth II; mother, Mary Jane Roth; and sisters, Judy Deslauries and Dyian May.

Survivors include his wife, Marilyn Roth; daughter, Hollie (Charles) Hisey; son, Chad (Tonya) Coleman; grandchildren, Tiffany Coleman Williams, Courtlyn Hisey, Autumn Hisey and Blake Coleman; nieces and nephews; cats, Samson, Riley, and Chloe.

Celebration of life will be Saturday, August 7, 2021, at 11 a.m. at the Blue Ridge United Methodist Church with Pastor Samuel Hamby and Dr. James Hughes officiating.
